Today's work on/in the business - Wed 27 Jan

Well, yesterday was Australia Day and I managed to actually have the day off! :-)

Yes, this is actually a big achievement for me - with all the pressure to find a software platform that our solution could be built on, it's been tough convincing myself that a day off is justified. But having sorted that out on the weekend, I was happy enough to have the day free.

A full day socialising - a bike ride and breakfast with friends in the morning, then home to shower and change and an afternoon in the park at a bbq with (mostly) other friends! Pity that I forgot to put on sunscreen... but I did have a cap on, so it's my arms that suffered. I need to remember that 'I'll do that in a few minutes' NEVER happens if it's me talking about sunscreen...

1. Update my record of time worked. (10mins)
2. Networking - follow up on posts and queries - 2 posts today. (45mins)
3. Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 77 visits over the last month - this is starting to pick up again, 35 new visits, 50% referrals, but not much searching going on - still a bit of a hang over from business slow down over christmas/new year period, 1 visit from Malta and 1 from Pakistan. (15mins)
4. Record business emails. (5mins)
5. Work on our new product - details to come later. (6hrs 5mins)
6. Ensure accounts are up to date. (5mins)
7. Invoice reconciliation (5mins)
