3. Follow up on existing customers and prospects, including updates on testimonials. (30mins)
4. Send new customer email about their email addresses. (10mins)
5. Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 108 visits which rising again, 44 new visits which is ok - bringing previous visitors back with the new content is also good, 14% search, 27% direct and 59% referral traffic - we still can't make people search for us but the referrals are good - networking is working, 3.14 pages per visit, 2:43 average time on site is good - both these last figures mean that people generally actually read the information that's on the website and they're fairly consistent. (15mins)
6. Website upgrade for new customer. (1hr 10mins)
7. Travel to, from and between customer sites. (1hr 30mins)
8. Invoicing - 1 amended and sent(interrupted by customer issues). (40mins)
9. Book meeting with one of our fellow NEIS participants to discuss his website requirements. (5mins)
10. Site visit to install first step of backup solution. (1hr 30mins)
Today feels like a day where the afternoon was wasted, but wasn't really... Having both of us present on client sites is sometimes required - and seems to have been this time around.
Then we had to shop and prepare for baby sitting (well, she's nearly 5, but that's still what you call it!) - but still made some progress.
