Today's work on/in the business - Sat 4 February

1. Review progress made last week and ensure the schedule is right for this week. (25mins)
2. Review the project schedules, adjusted all projects based on actual progress and added 1 week to software projects. (5mins)
3. Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 72 visits - so reasonable, 33 new visits - so a good mix of new and existing visitors, 29% search, 8% direct and 63% referral traffic - keyword/site path information shows that current processes are working to bring people to the site, 2.24 pages per visit, 1:19 average time on site - these last figures show people actually look at the site once they find it. (5mins)
4. Determine whether we met the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for January 2012. Thankfully, we met most of them - the obvious one that failed being my requirement to exercise (although walking back and forth from the station is helping!) and we need to work on contacting new prospects too (still). Of course, as I've been working onsite, the online networking KPI was not met - and probably won't be met till April 2012 either. (10mins)
5. Website upgrade - make changes required. (1hr 55mins)
6. Update my record of time worked. (5mins)
7. Invoice reconciliation - 1 created and sent out, 2 paid. (35mins)
