2. Check how much of the updated website has been crawled by Google - most of it now, which is better, but it's not up to date with last week's changes, let alone yesterday's. (10mins)
3. Phone call from a new client re a hardware issue - follow on from yesterday - flyers work! (5mins)
4. Send email to schedule appointment to show an existing client the test website. (10mins)
5. Invoice reconciliation. No payments made, no reminders sent. (10mins)
6. Accounts. (20mins)
7. Plan go live process for website upgrade for new customer. (35mins)
8. Amend and print flyers. (1hr 50mins)
9. Add more detail to our website - one more option for the Perfect Notes Virtual Assistant offering. (5mins)
10. Email customer with details of Virtual Assistant offering. (10mins)
11. Promote Virtual Assistant on Facebook now that the details are better. (5mins)

Today's work on/in the business - Tues 25 May

1. Update my record of time worked. (5mins)
2. Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 70 visits so holding steady, 36 new visits which is just over 50% so that's ok, 16% search, 33% direct and 51% referral traffic - we still can't make people search for us but the referrals are good, 3.37 pages per visit, which is really good, 3:24 average time on site is really good - both these last figures mean that people generally actually read the information that's on the website. (15mins)
3. Invoicing - one paid. (10mins)
4. Website upgrade for new customer - including meeting with him to show him the test site and discuss the changes he's decided on - planning to go live at the end of June. (9hrs 25mins)

3. Invoicing. Anything paid? No - but I didn't really expect any more to be paid so soon. (5mins)
4. Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 67 visits so holding steady - pages about to be updated again so this should improve, 40 new visits which is good, 23% search, 34% direct and 43% referral traffic, so search is a bit better (one referral from a directory that I don't even remember listing us on - but it sent us a referral, so I'm happy with that!), 1.94 pages per visit, which is good, 3:05 average time on site is really good - both these last figures mean that people generally actually read the information that's on the website. (20mins)
5. Continue looking at requirements for website upgrade for new prospect. (1hr 30mins)
6. Send email re potential upgrade to website. (15mins)
7. Record emails re testimonials. (10mins)
8. Second product - try to work out where I was up to and what to change next. Looked at example for next required change - but it doesn't work! (4hrs)

Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 64 visits which has slipped again - more regular updates needed, 41 new visits which is good, 25% search, 25% direct and 50% referral traffic, so search is a bit better, 2.11 pages per visit, which is good, 3:10 average time on site is really good - both these last figures mean that people generally actually read the information that's on the website. Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 77 visits so still getting a bit better, 45 new visits which is good, 18% search, 29% direct and 53% referral traffic, so search is still low, but we can't MAKE people search for CRM, 2.66 pages perd visit, which is good, 3:26 average time on site is really good - both these last figures mean that people generally actually read the information that's on the website if they get here, which is necessary! (5mins)

Unfortunately, the requirement to rewrite the CRM software has really hit the whole process for 6 - along with needing to write the new 'quick' software solution - and now a sidetrack into a whole new area - the Plone website work. Yesterday I went to the Australasian Quilt Convention and Expo with a friend - lots of beautiful work to admire and interesting things to look at and think about buying! Was great fun.
