8. Determine whether we met the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for May 2010. Thankfully, we met most of them - the obvious one that failed being my requirement to exercise (again), although I did actually do some this month. Unfortunately, the requirement to rewrite the CRM software has really hit the whole process for 6 - along with needing to write the new 'quick' software solution - and now a sidetrack into a whole new area - the Plone website work. One change is that leaflets have been dropped to businesses surrounding some existing customers, leading to one new customer, which is great. (10mins)
9. Bank reconciliation for May. (10mins)
10. Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 87 visits so the changes have encouraged traffic as expected, 42 new visits which is ok - bringing some previous visitors back with the new content is good, 15% search, 30% direct and 55% referral traffic - we still can't make people search for us but the referrals are good - networking is working, 3.24 pages per visit, 2:47 average time on site is good - both these last figures mean that people generally actually read the information that's on the website - 1 visit from the Faroe Islands, 1 from the Czech Republic and one from Switzerland (it really IS a small world!). (20mins)
11. Start converting our website to Plone. (1hr 40mins)
12. Networking - face to face. Monthly networking meeting as part of the NEIS support. (2hrs 25mins)
