Today's work on/in the business - Tues 24 July

1. Update my record of time worked. (15mins)
2. Working on process for new Events setup - review events. (25mins)
3. Review progress made this week. (35mins)
4. Follow up with a couple of existing clients. (15mins)
5. Work on queries from data cleaning organisation for support customer. (10mins)
6. Invoicing - 1 cancelled, none paid. (40mins)
7. Look at the statistics that Google Analytics gives you. 81 visits - so better, 67 new visits - so a good mix of new and existing visitors, 36% search, 23% direct and 41% referral traffic - keyword/site path information shows that current processes are working to bring people to the site, 2.06 pages per visit, 2:05 average time on site - these last figures show people actually look at the site once they find it. (5mins)
8. Read small business blogs. (15mins)
9. Website upgrade - planning upgrade to next major platform version - setup test platform and confirm that process is possible on production server. (2hrs 35mins)
10. Run Malwarebytes scan on my laptop. (2hrs 15mins)

A shorter day (although it doesn't look like it!) because Dave had my laptop for half the morning, checking whether it had the trojan that had been reported - before we worked out it was the other server. This is a lot of the reason why we run Linux on most of our machines.
